Extra Virgin Olive Oil

At Riverbend farm we are passionate about producing the finest grade extra virgin olive oil, the first award winning olive oil being produced in 2005. Olives are hand picked, transported to the onsite Olive Mill and cold extracted within a maximum of 24 hours. We produce single varietal Extra Virgin Olive oil as well as a well balanced blend from varieties grown on the farm: Mission (from California) and Frantoio (from Italy)

Aroma – Fruity with green grass and nutty notes

Taste – A balanced nutty oil, with hints of fresh herbs, almond and artichoke

Table Olives

Riverbend farm table olives are carefully hand picked at their optimal ripeness and then cured in tanks in our Olive shed before being sorted and packed. The black Mission and Kalamata varietals are left to cure for a minimum of 10 months before they are ready for you to enjoy!
They are available in glass jars or plastic buckets. Riverbend sun-dried olives are made from pitted Mission & Kalamata black olives left to dry naturally in the sun. They are sold in tubs or buckets, ideal for adding to home made bread dough, salads, pastas or just eaten as is. We also pack sun-dried olives in a homemade vinaigrette.

Tapenades

Riverbend farm’s artisanal tapenades are made in small batches and are ideal for spreading on crackers or enjoying with fresh ciabatta.

There are three different flavours to choose from:
Lemon Thyme – made with lemon thyme which is grown, picked and dried on the farm
Chilli – just a hint
Tangy Manzanilla – made from green olives and salt preserved farm lemons
