Riverbend Olive Farm Accommodation
Riverbend Olive Farm boasts a number of self catering cottages for hire. With cottages situated on the banks of the Breede river, guests can relax and enjoy the tranquil setting with views of the surrounding olive groves and mountains.
All cottages have access to free wifi. We are pet friendly and all bedding, towels, tea/coffee and hand crafted olive oil soap is provided.
Activities on the Farm
Riverbend Olive Farm is ideal for those wishing to escape the city for a couple of nights and share in our little piece of paradise!
Swimming
A swim in the river is the perfect way to cool down in the hot Summer months!
Fishing & Cycling
Bring your own rod and tackle or bicycle. Ideal for novice- or serious fisherman!
Walking/Hiking
Bring walking shoes and enjoy a hike up the mountain. The views are magnificent!
Canoeing
Canoes are available for hire should you wish to enjoy a paddle up the river.
River Cottage
Pet Friendly & Free Wifi
River cottage is a modern 2 bedroom cottage which sleeps 4 people. Both bedrooms have their own electric blankets and ensuite shower/toilet.
This cottage also boasts a well equipped open plan, eat in kitchen and lounge area with fans in every room. It has its own wrap around wooden deck with outside seating area as well as its own fire pit for braais.
Stone Cottage
Pet Friendly & Free Wifi
Stone cottage, as its name suggests, is clad in stone so is exceptionally cool in Summer and warm and cosy in Winter with its own closed fireplace. It sleeps 6 people in 3 separate bedrooms and has the option of accommodating an extra child on a daybed. There are 3 bathrooms; a spacious lounge and well equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher and washing machine.
This cottage has a wooden deck with outside seating as well as its own stone fire pit for braais.
Stone Cottage

Fynbos Cottage

Fynbos cottage is the first of our Mountain cottages, situated further up the hill past the olive groves, away from the rest of the cottages and the river.
It is a modern timber framed 2 bedroom cottage sleeping a maximum of 4 people. Each bedroom has an en suite shower-toilet. There is a wood burning stove in the lounge for those cooler evenings and ceiling fans for the summer months. Guests at this cottage can relax in their own wood fired kol-kol hot tub or enjoy the stunning mountain views from the walled stone fire pit. This cottage has the added advantage of being entirely off grid with its electricity supply directly from the sun!
